In an earlier article, I put forth the question, “Do you lead your life, or does your life lead you?”. Here is a simple process using which you could lead your life and begin to live the life of your dreams:
1) Start afresh, leaving your current lifestyle out of thought for a while.
2) Plan the kind of life you would want to live if there were absolutely no restrictions whatsoever. Write down all aspects of it that you can think of. Call this your dream life.
3) Compare your dream life to your current life.
4) Make a note of all your current obligations, which could come in the way of living your dream life.
5) Make a note of all the things you would need to do to move on from your current life to living your dream life.
6) Reduce as much as possible the obligations that hold you back. A little progress each day would take you a long way.
7) Start living one aspect at a time, from the dream life that you have laid out for yourself. Go ahead and lead yourself through the life you dream of.
Then, before you know, you will be living a lifestyle that is so very different from the one you used to be living, one that is so close to your very own dream life.
