Here’s wishing you a Successful New Year 2011.
You may be wondering where I have been hiding for almost a month. I had been on a long vacation, away from the Internet world. My sincere apologies for not informing you about my vacation plans in advance. I had thought I would be writing regularly, but things didn’t go as expected. Anyway, I’m just back from my vacation and thought I would write a quick note to wish you a splendid year ahead.
Year 2010 was an eventful one for me, with lots of new learning, quite a few achievements in various sectors of my life, and a very special experience here at Secrets of Success. I hope 2010 was great for you too in many ways.
Back in 2007, I started this blog as a personal log of my random thoughts on living life, based on my real life experiences and realizations. It was just that. No special goals, no monetizing plans, and no specific direction. What started as just a simple blog, is still a simple blog, but what I have learned along the way from this experience has been very significant.
The year that just went by was special in many ways for this blog. I made some special connections with very special people, wrote more comments on posts than I have done in all earlier years put together, and wrote a fair number of posts that coincidentally equaled the total of all posts written over the 3 years prior to last year.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of my readers, especially to all those who have been helping this site grow by posting valuable comments and linking to this site.
There’s a lot that I would like to write about Year 2010 – recap the things that happened on this blog, list down the best of my posts, write about how this blog improved my own life, etc., but taking into account the fact that Year 2011 is already underway, I’d just like to make a quick but special mention of all those who commented on my posts this year and gave me the extra boost to move ahead:
A very special note of thanks also goes out to all those who commented but did not have a website to link to. I appreciate your selfless contribution towards the Secrets of Success community.
Once again, A Very Big Thank You to everyone! I look forward to your continued goodwill and support during this new year 2011 too, as we take this blog to new heights.

Glad you are back! I hope you had a good vacation! Much deserved I am sure. Thanks for the nice comment on my site. I a just going to reply here. My comment threading is all jacked up now. I do not want to spend time commenting there until I know it all fixed. I paid a guy to give the site a “professional” look and while it looks OK, I am unhappy with a lot of the errors he caused and did not bother to QA.
Hopefully tha will be fixed soon.
But this is not the place to rank about that. LOL. Glad you are back and hopefully doing well. I look forward to your kicking ass in 2011!

I appreciate it and I also appreciate all the support you given me in the past few months. Like you I haven’t been blogging as much as I want, my new job position plus my old clients is too much to deal with at the moment, so my blog suffers, hopefully i will change that by the end of the month!
I don’t blame you for not posting Mark, it’s not a proper holiday break if you take your computer with you. I don’t even take my phone with me.
When I’m away, I like to enjoy wherever I am, and have no connections back home. “Be, Here, Now” is my motto.

Hope you had a great holiday and good on you for taking a complete break. I had a couple of days off the net over Christmas. Felt more refreshed when things started up again.
Now I have my goals set and moving forward in 2011 so seeing things happening. Especially pleased with having my newletter available and now to the ebook that I have started writing. That is another goal for this year so will keep on keeping on till all those goals are achieved.
Here’s to all your plans for 2011 too Mark. Hope you have a great year.

Hi Mark, never been here before, but I’m always pleased to meet new folk. I noticed i your list of names, you’ve picked up some of the usual suspects – John McN, Barry and Fran, to name but, er, well three.
Without going into too much detail, suffice to say that we had, what is now known as the 2010 Crisis-mas.
Put it behind us now, and steam into 2011.
I’ll be back soon, put the kettle on.
